Dr Raimundo’s training in Business,
Philosophy, Medicine, Psychiatry; Group Training and Theological studies
blend together with his ability to integrate the best of each into
practical and easy to follow skills for life. Carlos education in
Argentina, US and Europe gives him sound understanding of dealing with
cultural issues and successful migration provides him with experience in
facilitating change in the lives of many people in an alive, sharp and
useful manner. Dr Raimundo’s background includes lecturing at
universities in Australia and the US in addition to directing workshops
and training sessions for over 20 years. He is the author of

pioneering work in brief Solution Focused Psychotherapy. It combines
established methodologies – including language techniques pioneered by
the likes of Steve de Shazer, and Bill O’Hanlon – with original
emotional and body interventions. He is also the author of Healing the
Whole Person and co-author of Healing with Words (with Jenny Brown). |

Adam McLean

He is a psychotherapist in private practice
in Sydney Australia. Adam is a group therapist with considerable number
of years of experience in running groups in a variety of settings. He is
faculty member of the Jansen Newman Institute in Sydney where he
coordinates the group therapy Internship, is faculty member of the
Centre for Existential Practice in Sydney and works from an existential
view point. He has a passion for group work and has experience in
training and education. |

Alison has been instrumental in creating
the existential curriculum for a variety of counselling and
psychotherapy trainings in Australia. She is a practising
psychotherapist, coach and supervisor and former Director Academic
Programs at the Australian College of Applied Psychology. Her doctorate
focused on unravelling the process of supervision which, in turn, led to
the development of a framework for teaching supervisors. Alison is
co-author of Time-Limited Existential Therapy and founder of the
Australasian Existential Society |

Dr Andrew Turnell

is a social worker, family therapist and
child protection consultant from Perth, Western Australia. Andrew is the
co-creator of the Signs of Safety, a safety organised, solution-focused
approach to child
protection casework. Andrew teaches regularly around the world and acts
as an ongoing consultant to child protection systems in Australia, New
Zealand, Europe, Japan and North America. Andrew learnt the Resolutions
approach through direct clinical practice under the supervision of Susie
Essex and over the past eight years has been involved in evolving the
approach and making it applicable to statutory child protection workers
as well treatment professionals. In 2007 Susie Essex and Andrew
published the book Working With ‘Denied’ Child Abuse: The Resolutions
Approach. |

Susan Geraghty

supervisor with twenty years experience in family violence prevention.
She also has extensive experience in working within the community,
education and public sector with in-depth understanding of both policy

Jenny Hill

Jenny Hill, armed with a professional doctorate (Experiential and
Creative Arts Therapies) with MIECAT has 16 years experience as a
counselling psychologist and play therapist in her Private Practice with
children, families and adults.
She also worked for 8 years in a Family Welfare Organisation in
Melbourne, Australia, as a one-to-one play-therapist with children with
a variety of presenting issues due to dislocation from family through
removal by the Department of Human Services, re-unification with
families, survivors of abuse and trauma, intellectual disabilities,
diagnosis of ADHD, school refusal, children of drug dependent parents
and a range of other behavioural difficulties related to stress and
fear.

Arthur Becker-Weidman

has been treating the families of adoptive and foster children for over
two decades. As Director of the Center For Family Development he
consults with Department’s of Social Services, Residential Treatment
Centers, and Mental Health Clinics throughout the US, Canada, and
Internationally. Dr. Becker-Weidman’s work has focused on the evaluation
and treatment of adopted and foster children and their families,
Complex-Post Traumatic
Stress Disorder, and Alcohol Related Neurological Dysfunction . The
results of an empirical study demonstrating the effectiveness of the
approach he practices - Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy. Dr.
Becker-Weidman has published over a dozen papers in peer reviewed
professional journals and has presented at numerous international,
regional, and local professional meetings. He is the co-editor of the
book, Creating Capacity for Attachment, published by Wood ‘N’ Barnes in
2005. He has just completed his book on Attachment-Facilitating
Parenting. |

She is a counsellor and psychotherapist who works holistically within a
transpersonal and Soul-Centred framework. For over 20 years she has
contributed to the consciousness movement, using experiential processes
with individuals, couples and families. She enjoys seeing people live
more fully and live their true nature.
Judith is a clinical member with certified status and a registered
supervisor of the Australian Counselling Association; an individual
registered member of the Psychotherapists & Counsellors Federation of
Australia; a full member of the Counsellors & Psychotherapists
Association of Victoria and the Victorian Association of Holistic and
Transpersonal Counsellors; a member of the Society of Counselling and

Ms Banu Moloney
Workshop: Introduction to Family Therapy,

Banu Moloney is a lecturer at the Bouverie Centre and La Trobe
University in the Master of Clinical Family Therapy, Master of Couple
and Relationship Counselling and Graduate Certificate in Family Therapy
courses.
She is qualified Social Worker, Psychologist and Family Therapist. She
has over 30 years experience as a family therapist with a special
interest in working with children and adolescents in the context of
their families.
She also specialises in supervision and has published and presented at
Counselling and Family Therapy Conferences in Australia and overseas in
this area.
Banu has many years of experience in designing and conducting training
programmes in family therapy, counselling and consultation to mainstream
counselling organisations, Indigenous Australians as well as wide range
of organisations, including the staff at the Victorian Arts Centre,
Victorian Housing Department Tourism Victoria and the Centre For Grief
at Monash Medical Centre. She was a clinical member of the Bouverie HIV
team for 10 years. She has a part time private practice, which includes
work with couples, individuals, families and supervision and
consultation to health professionals and organisations. |

Ms Edwina Entwisle

She is a Masters Graduate from MIECAT. She
was worked extensively with youths and marginalised groups in drama as a
community artist and therapist and won several Australia Day Awards for
her work. She also works as a video maker and performer and is a regular
teacher at MIECAT. |

After working for both State and Commonwealth Public Services, Malcolm
established this company in 1986 to provide a range of consultancy and
training services largely related to performance enhancement, assisting
in organisational change, career development and human service
provision. He is a qualified and experienced clinical and consulting
psychologist, with considerable involvement in both private and public
sector work and significant experience in employment related issues.
Malcolm has been widely used as a consultant in employee support, career
planning, employment, and outplacement. He has also provided large-scale
change management consultancy and training to organisations such as
BHP-TEMCO, the State Library, Local Government and the National Gallery.
